The NLB New Pension Fund was presented with the award "Best Sovereign Reserve Fund in Europe for 2015"

Following the last-year award for best pension fund in Central and Eastern Europe, this year, the NLB New Pension Fund, for the management with the obligatory pension fund, was presented with the even more prestigious award, “Best Sovereign Reserve Fund in Europe for 2015”, by the reputable financial magazine “IPE – INVESTMENTS & PENSIONS EUROPE“. According to “IPE”, the NLB New Pension Fund has met the criteria for this new category of awards, essentially due to its obligatory feature, and the key role in the restructured pension system in the Republic of Macedonia.

The IPE jury’s award explanation characterizes the obligatory fund managed by the NLB New Pension Fund as a “Fund with innovative and complex investment strategy” aimed towards realization of the Fund’s objectives. The risk management, the focus on the long-term perspectives of the companies in which funds are being invested, as well as the development of the human capital which is key in terms of the Fund management, were particularly pointed out.

This is yet another acknowledgment for the successful operations of the NLB New pension fund, the NLB Group, as well as of the Republic of Macedonia regarding the successful performance of the overall capital funded pension insurance system.

NLB New Pension Fund AD won the 2014 "Best Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Europe" Award

NLB New Pension Fund AD won the 2014 "Best Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Europe" Award At the ceremony held on 20 November in Vienna, which was attended by representatives of the largest pension funds from 30 countries in Europe, the respectable financial magazine "IPE - INVESTMENTS & PENSIONS EUROPE" awarded prizes to the best pension funds in several categories. Prizes awarded by the IPE magazine are one of the most prestigious awards for companies managing pension funds in Europe.

NLB New Pension Fund AD Skopje won the 2014 "Best Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Europe" Award, in a region where a number of pension funds in several countries operate.

The renowned IPE Publishers magazine of London, when choosing the winner, takes into account a multitude of factors that to NLB New Pension Fund AD Skopje, attach the epithet of a leader in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. Among the factors which the IPE Commission, consisting of judges, renowned representatives of the industry and academia, in addition to the actual yields assessed from the perspective of risks undertaken, takes also into consideration are also the philosophy, quality, innovation and active approach to management of assets, as well as the quality of risk management, corresponding corporate governance system, human capital quality, and a number of other factors which speak of the position of the Company in the region.

This award is not only an enormous acknowledgement for NLB New Pension Fund AD Skopje and NLB Group, but also a confirmation for the Republic of Macedonia regarding the successful operation of the entire system of fully funded pension insurance. It is great recognition for the Company, which in the years since its establishment, through the hard work of its entire team of professional staff, has introduced the highest standards and innovative and modern system of pension funds management. The award presents even greater responsibility for the Company, which will continue in the future to push the boundaries of quality in its work in the interest of its members.

 

National Recognition for Social Responsibility Goes to NLB Nov Penziski fond AD Skopje

The Coordination Body for Social Responsibility of Enterprises, together with the Ministry of Economy, awarded the 2012 National Recognition for Social Responsibility to NLB Nov Penziski fond AD Skopje.

The ceremonial award of the 2012 National Recognition for Best Social Responsibility Practices of Macedonian Companies took place on April 23, 2013. The company was awarded under the category Ethical Management, for the Good Corporate Governance Project.

The goal of the Project is for the Company to underline the positive practices in the area of good corporate governance, the efficient control mechanisms established, while creating and fostering lasting values.

The project recognition awarded showed the success of the efforts of the Company and the NLB Group through implementation of the good corporate governance principles, aimed at building solid internal structure, professionalism in the operation and successful management of pension funds.
